Online sales of mobile phones which were stolen
. All companies branded mobile phone was sold on Olx website . There are also a
large number of people buying such phones.
Delhi police have arrested two people in this
case. The gang members first advertise on Olx as new mobile phone and sold at very cheap rate.
Delhi DSP said two people have been arrested
and sent to jail.
How police solved this case:
The police claim that he saw that advertisement
on Olx , After confirmation they sent two policemen as a customer to catch
those gang members.
Police say that as soon as the deal was fixed
by policemen in plain clothes were both arrested red handed. Police raids and
the estimated 32 Android smart mobile phone were seized.
Police say that after questioning , gang
members accepted they stolen Samsung, Sony, Nokia, etc. expensive mobile sets
companies agreed to sell at a much lower price. Police involved in the
investigation that they used to get from where theft of mobile sets.
So be careful while buying second hand smartphone from any unknown person or from any second hand handset seller.
